Funding to Address Health & Well-Being in Disadvantaged Communities (South Yorkshire)
Charities, community organisations, CICs and social enterprises working to address health & well-being in disadvantaged communities across South Yorkshire can apply for grants of up to £10,000 from the new South Yorkshire Health & Wellbeing Mayoral Community Fund.
A total of £200,000 in funding is available to address key social issues including:
- Mental health
- Social and green social prescribing
- Physical well-being
- Engaging young people in activities addressing health and well-being
Funding will support project costs including operating, revenue and capital costs, and must be spent before the end of May 2022. The Fund is administered by South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation.
The deadline for applications is 9am on the 13th September 2021.
