Grant News
The Another Way Women’s Foundation (AWWF), a UK-based, volunteer-led charity, has opened its next funding round for applications. The foundation supports initiatives that empower women and girls, with a particular focus on sustainable, community-led projects that address gender inequality.
AWWF typically runs up to three funding rounds each year, each with a specific thematic focus. However, the January funding round is open to applications supporting women and girls in any area.
Two grant options are available:
-
The Another Way Women’s Foundation Grant, offering up to £5,000 for larger projects that demonstrate measurable and lasting impact.
-
The “£1,000 for 1,000 Words” Grant, providing £1,000 in seed funding for applicants who can clearly set out their idea in 1,000 words.
Applications are open to UK-based individuals and not-for-profit organisations, provided proposals align with the foundation’s charitable aims of relief, education, empowerment, and the advancement of women.
Funding is typically awarded in one of two areas:
-
Project support, offering seed funding for pilot or start-up initiatives to test ideas, demonstrate proof of concept, and support future growth or sustainability.
-
Services support, providing financial assistance to organisations delivering essential services to women and girls.
The closing date for applications is 31 January 2026.
