Grants of up to £5,000 are available through the BCP Thriving Communities Fund, which is managed by Dorset Community Foundation in partnership with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council. The fund is designed to support capital improvements to community buildings operated by local community groups within the BCP area.

The funding is intended for projects that enhance the physical condition, safety, accessibility, or functionality of community buildings. This might include refurbishments, installation of accessible facilities such as ramps or toilets, or other structural upgrades that enable buildings to better serve the public.

To be eligible, applicants must be community organisations that manage a community building within the BCP Council area. Projects must be focused on physical infrastructure improvements. Applications for non-capital projects—such as running costs, staffing, or one-off events—are not eligible.
