Grant News
The Mayor of London has launched a £97.5 million fund to help low-paid and unemployed adults gain the skills needed for jobs in key growth sectors.
The London Talent Pathways Fund offers grants of between £200,000 and £1.2 million to London-based training providers delivering employer-led, vocational programmes aligned with the London Growth Plan.
The scheme will focus on helping Londoners get the skills they need to find jobs, move up in their current roles, get closer to employment by taking higher-level courses. It will especially focus on:
- young Londoners aged 19 to 23
 - Londoners from Black, Asian and minority ethnic communities
 - Londoners with no or lower-level (without a level 2) qualifications
 - Londoners in low-paid work (earning less than the London Living Wage)
 - Londoners who are out of work
 - disabled Londoners
 - older Londoners aged 50 and over

Up to £400,000 of each grant can be used to deliver eligible “Free Courses for Jobs”.
Successful providers must provide a UK Provider Reference Number (UKPRN) and run their training from a physical learning site in London when delivery begins.
Applicants must demonstrate strong employer partnerships and clear job outcomes.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 8th December 2025.
