The Mayor of London has announced that more than £30 million is available to fund late-night youth clubs in every London borough.
The programme will support voluntary and community sector organisations to keep youth clubs open later and longer during weekday evenings, weekends and school holidays. The Mayor of London leads the Greater London Authority and funds programmes that support Londoners, including children and young people.
Funding of between £200,000 and £850,000 is available per borough over two to three years, with one lead organisation funded in each London borough and the City of London. Projects should support young Londoners aged 14 to 24 by providing safe spaces, trusted adults, activities, mentoring, skills development and targeted support.
Key points include:
- applicants must be voluntary or community sector organisations;
- one lead organisation will be funded per borough;
- funding can cover universal youth provision, targeted specialist support, staffing, activities, outreach, operational costs and eligible minor capital improvements;
- projects must run from October 2026 to September 2029.
Applications must be submitted through the GLA OPS system by 12pm on Monday 14 September 2026. Decisions are expected in the week commencing 19 October 2026.
