Funding Available to Support Wellbeing and Resilience Within Marginalised Communities (London)

The London Communities Micro Grant Fund is now open for applications, offering grants of up to £5,000 to grassroots organisations supporting wellbeing, resilience and belonging across London.

The fund is commissioned by Thrive LDN, London’s public mental health partnership, with support and funding from the Mayor of London, and is delivered by Groundwork London. It aims to strengthen trusted community organisations working with marginalised and underserved communities.

Funding can support existing activities including

  • Mental wellbeing and resilience
  • Community connection and belonging
  • Social inclusion and participation
  • Peer support and community networks
  • Arts, culture and creative wellbeing activities
  • Safe spaces and community events

Entirely new initiatives are not eligible, and applicants must demonstrate previous community delivery.

Highlights:

  • Small charities, voluntary and faith groups, CICs, community networks and informal groups can apply
  • Grants of up to £2,000 are available for organisations with turnover below £300,000, or up to £5,000 where turnover is below £500,000.
  • Activity must benefit London communities.
