Funding to Support the Resilience of Community Organisations (West of England)

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to support the longer-term resilience of local charitable organisations in Bristol, Bath & North-East Somerset, North Somerset or South Gloucestershire.

The Quartet Community Foundation Resilience Grant Programme aims to help organisations plan and adapt to change and be better equipped to survive and thrive through challenges and opportunities that may arise.

Who can apply:

  • voluntary or community organisations
  • registered charities
  • not-for-profit companies, including Community Interest Companies

The funding is designed to cover core costs and encourage strategic development work, rather than the delivery of services and activities.

This could include:

  • governance and business development training for trustees
  • improvements to finance systems
  • designing, developing and implementing new database systems
  • increasing the involvement of service users
  • creating strategic plans and facilitating strategy planning workshops

Priority will be given to organisations working with the following communities:

  • People from Black, Asian and minoritised communities
  • Disabled people (and people with long-term health conditions)
  • Older People
  • People experiencing or at risk of homelessness
  • Refugees and asylum seekers
  • Carers
  • Women
  • People who identify as LGBTQIA

Organisations must have an annual income under £350,000.

The deadline for applications is 11am on the 21st July 2025.
