Funding for Community Projects to Reduce Carbon Emissions & Fuel Poverty (Bath & the Surrounding Areas)

Charities, community and voluntary groups, and community enterprises can apply for grants of up to £5,000 for local community projects which aim to reduce carbon emissions and/or address fuel poverty in Bath and the surrounding areas.

The funding is made available through the Bath & West Community Energy Fund, which is particularly welcoming applications relating to fuel poverty/affordable warmth to ensure that everyone can access and afford energy.

Examples of projects supported by the programme include:

  • fuel poverty programmes
  • energy advice
  • providing energy efficient products such as draught-proofing and low energy lightbulbs
  • re-use and recycling projects
  • local food production
  • sustainable transport or waste reduction

The deadline for applications is 1pm on the 31st October 2024.
