Funding to Improve Participatory Arts & Mental Health Provision (Scotland)

A new fund has been launched to help groups and organisations increase and improve participatory arts and mental health provision in Scotland’s local communities.

Creative Scotland’s Participatory Arts and Mental Health Fund will allocate £145,000 in National Lottery funding to support voluntary and other not-for-profit groups and organisations to try out new approaches or develop their existing work with people with mental health problems. Grants of between £3,000 and £30,000 are available.

The fund will support a wide range of costs including artist fees, venue hire, equipment, mentoring and supervision for artists, training, and travel for participants. The funding is delivered in partnership with the Baring Foundation and the Mental Health Foundation.

The deadline for applications is 12pm on the 18th July 2023.
