Grant News
Local charities, volunteer and community groups, schools, colleges, and local authorities or parish councils within the Severn Trent Water region can apply for grants ranging from £2,000 to £100,000 to support new community projects. These grants are provided through the New Projects Funding stream of the Severn Trent Community Fund, which focuses on three key elements of community wellbeing:

People: Projects that promote healthier lifestyles and skills development.

Place: Initiatives that contribute to creating better living environments for communities.

Environment: Endeavors that improve access to and promote a healthier natural environment, including water preservation.
Two grant sizes are available:

£2,000 to £20,000: For projects lasting up to 24 months. Both registered and non-registered community organizations can apply. Match funding is encouraged but not required. The next application deadline is 28th February 2025.

£20,000 to £100,000: For projects lasting up to 24 months. Applicants must be registered with the Charity Commission or Companies House. Match funding is encouraged but not required. The next application deadline is 31st July 2025.
Additionally, the Core Cost Funding stream, which supports essential running costs for organisations delivering vital community services, is currently closed and is scheduled to reopen in May 2025.
