Small grants of up to £10,000 are available to Salford-based voluntary, community or social enterprise (VCSE) organisations for projects which help prevent suicide amongst adults.
The 2020/21 Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Fund will focus on suicide prevention and economic adversity (e.g. relating to debt, housing advice, employment), and suicide prevention and isolation, particularly amongst frontline workers, males, bereaved people, and those falling between primary care and secondary care mental health.
Applications focusing on peer support, in addition to support outside of core working hours are especially encouraged.
Funding is made available by NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group and Salford City Council.
The closing date for applications is 12pm on the 30th October 2020.
