Funding to Support Older People Over the Christmas Period (England, Scotland and Wales)
Grants of up to £750 are available to charities, community groups, and other not-for-profit organisations working to support older people in England, Scotland and Wales who may be isolated or lonely over the festive period.
The funding will support activities providing connection or company to over 65’s, which might include a Christmas meal together, a day trip out, or Christmas care packages.
The applicant organisation must have a turnover of below £250,000 to be eligible.
The funding is available through the McCarthy Stone Foundation’s Connecting at Christmas Grants programme. At least 40 grants will be awarded.
