Grassroots community groups in Greater Manchester can apply for grants of up to £1,000 to deliver projects that support people affected by the cost-of-living crisis or provide education and skills development.

Organisations can request funding for any type of activity that benefits their community.

Examples include:

  • food banks
  • warm spaces
  • financial and welfare advice
  • baby banks
  • IT sessions
  • activities to improve employment opportunities
  • language classes

To be eligible, organisations must be based in one of Greater Manchester’s ten boroughs and have an annual income below £150,000.

The funding is provided by Forever Manchester through the Voicescape Community Fund, with applications closing at 12pm on 19 March 2026.
