Reel Impact is open to mid-to-senior Black and Global Majority individuals with at least five years’ industry experience, and to Black and Global Majority-led or owned UK organisations, production companies and partnerships.

Levels of funding available:

  • Up to £10,000 for individual personal development
  • Up to £25,000 for organisations to advance race equity
  • Up to £25,000 for organisations to support organisational development (applied for individually or in partnership)
  • Up to £50,000 for partnership projects advancing racial equity

Support can largely cover revenue and development costs, including coaching, skills development, equipment, consultancy, staffing, leadership development, network-building, research, advocacy, and policy-focused racial equity activity.

Applications from outside London are particularly encouraged.

The programme uses a two-stage application process. First-stage applications close at midday on 21 April 2026. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit a full application.
