Grant News
The Trauma Responsive Greater Manchester Fund is open for applications, offering grants of £5,000 to £10,000 to voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations across Greater Manchester. The fund is supported by Greater Manchester Combined Authority as part of the wider Trauma Responsive Greater Manchester programme and is managed by Salford CVS on behalf of 10GM, a joint venture supporting the VCSE sector in Greater Manchester.
The programme aims to help organisations move beyond basic trauma awareness and embed trauma-responsive approaches in their services, systems and settings. Trauma-responsive practice focuses on creating safe, supportive and empowering environments for people and communities affected by trauma.
Funding can support projects that align with at least one of the programme priorities: improving physical spaces; delivering trauma-responsive training for staff or volunteers; reviewing policies and procedures; or developing learning, reflection and evaluation systems. Strong applications should show how trauma-informed principles will be applied in practice and how outcomes will be measured.
Applicants must be constituted VCSE organisations in Greater Manchester, or delivering projects in Greater Manchester for Greater Manchester residents. Organisations do not need to have been constituted for two years, but some governance requirements apply.
The deadline for applications is 12pm on 7 August 2026. Decisions are expected within six weeks, with projects delivered between September 2026 and September 2027. An online meet the funder session will take place on 30 June 2026.
