Grant News
The Fore is a UK venture philanthropy fund that supports high-potential small charities and social enterprises. It has announced that the next funding round will open on 8 July 2026.
The programme offers unrestricted grants of up to £45,000 over one to three years. This funding is flexible and can be used for core and organisational costs that help organisations:
- grow
- build internal capacity
- improve structure
- become more sustainable and efficient
- reach new beneficiary groups
Eligible applicants include UK-registered charities, charitable CIOs, CICs limited by guarantee, and charitable or asset-locked Community Benefit Societies. Organisations must have an annual income of less than £500,000.
Organisations can be based anywhere in the UK and work in any sector. However, CICs limited by shares and non-charitable Community Benefit Societies without an asset lock are not eligible.
Applications are particularly encouraged from organisations working with underserved communities, and those who have struggled to access funding in the past.
The Fore runs three funding rounds each year. During each round, organisations must first register their interest within a one-week application window. The registration window will close on 15 July 2026. Selected organisations are invited to take part in a multi-stage process.
