The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust has announced that the Reveal & Respond programme is open for applications. Through the programme, grants of £20,000 to £300,000 are available to improve access to mental health and wellbeing support for underrepresented groups within the armed forces community.
Underrepresented groups can include:
- Female personnel
- Neurodivergent personnel
- LGBTQ+ personnel
- Ethnic minority and non-UK personnel
- Service children with SEND and their parents
- Serving and ex-serving personnel, or their partners, with caring responsibilities
- Bereaved service families
- Early service leavers and people experiencing unexpected or abrupt transition
Applicants must be UK-based registered charities, CICs or local authorities. Partnerships are expected between armed forces organisations and specialist non-armed forces organisations.
Two strands are available. Strand 1 offers £20,000 to £40,000 for two-year discovery, pilot and learning projects, such as testing new interventions, understanding barriers, developing support pathways or adapting existing approaches for specific cohorts.
Strand 2 offers £150,000 to £300,000 for two- to three-year projects that build on existing evidence or practice. This could include expanding proven models, strengthening referral pathways, improving collaboration or sharing learning through toolkits, training, evaluation findings or partnership frameworks.
Applications must be submitted through the online portal by 12 noon on 28 October 2026. Decisions are expected before the end of February 2027.
