Grant News
Grants are available to support ensembles in bringing live period music to communities across the UK, particularly in areas that lack access to high-quality live music.
Applicants are invited to request amounts ranging from £2,000 to £8,000 to support UK projects scheduled from 1 November to 30 April 2025. For recently formed ensembles (formed between June 2020 and June 2024), the Foundation prefers to support live concerts or tours but will consider a recording if this would make a material difference to the ensemble's career prospects.
Continuo Foundation expects to award grants to over 20 ensembles, including at least 4 emerging groups. The final numbers will depend on the quality of the applications received and the amounts requested.
Funding can be used for:
- Chamber recital series
- Touring an existing programme to new locations
- Recording new repertoire
The deadline for applications is 11:59 pm on 29th August 2024.
