Grants to Promote Physics Amongst Under-Represented Young People (UK)

The Institute of Physics is currently accepting applications for their Public Engagement Grant Scheme, which supports projects that align with their Limitless campaign.

These projects aim to engage families with young people under the age of 16 from under-represented groups in physics, such as girls and young women, disabled young people, LGBTQ+ young people, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and Black Caribbean young people.

The grant scheme provides funding of up to £5,000 for events and activities in the UK and Ireland that promote relationships between physics and the public and reinforce existing engagement efforts.

Applications can be submitted by individuals, organisations, researchers, museums, community groups, non-profit organisations, arts groups, and libraries.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 24th March 2023.
