Funding for Energy Affordability Initiatives (South Wales, the South West & the East and West Midlands)

In response to the cost-of-living and energy crises, the National Grid in partnership with the Centre for Sustainable Energy, is making grants of up to £40,000 available to energy advice providers and community organisations seeking to help vulnerable people struggling to pay their heating bills.

The Energy Affordability Fund will support affordable warmth initiatives across the South West, South Wales and the East and West Midlands that deliver in-depth advice and support to enable disadvantaged people, especially those not easily able to access energy advice services, to carry out home improvements to make their homes more energy efficient, lower and manage their bills, and increase their resilience to severe winter weather and power cuts.

The deadline for applications is midnight on the 27th March 2023.
