£166 Million in Funding to Support Disadvantaged Communities (Scotland)

The National Lottery Community Fund has opened a new £166 million funding stream to support Scotland’s most disadvantaged communities over the next five years.

The funding is available through two new programmes which aim to help communities tackle poverty, disadvantage, and discrimination:

  • Community Action offers grants of £20,001 to £250,000 for community-led projects that help people connect more with each other or promote environmental sustainability. Applications are accepted from voluntary or community-led organisations.
  • Fairer Life Chances: grants of £20,001 to £500,000 for projects supporting children, young people and families, or initiatives that improve health and access to support. Applications are accepted from voluntary or community organisations, and public sector organisations.

Applications can be made at any time.
