A new round of funding has opened for the Scottish Veterans Fund. For this funding round a total of £500,000 is available to support projects improving the lives of veterans and their families including with financial support, mental and physical health challenges and employment.
The Fund — established in 2008 — has to date contributed over £2.8 million across more than 220 projects nationwide.
For 2026, the funding is split into two distinct streams. The first stream is aimed at larger, multi-year projects that deliver sustained support. The second targets smaller, one-year initiatives, with an emphasis on fostering connections between serving personnel and veterans.
Eligible applicants include charities, community groups, and non-profits operating in Scotland. Projects focused on employment support, mental health, financial advice, and community cohesion are encouraged.
The closing date for applications is 5 December 2025.
