Grant News
The STV Children’s Appeal and Kellogg’s Breakfast Club Fund is now open for applications. It offers £1,000 grants to help schools in Scotland run or improve their breakfast clubs.
STV Children’s Appeal is a Scottish charity that supports children and young people living in poverty. It is delivering this programme in partnership with Kellogg’s, which has long supported school breakfast clubs across the UK.
Primary and secondary schools in Scotland can apply. The funding is aimed at helping schools continue or strengthen breakfast clubs that support children and families facing financial hardship. The fund can support any aspect of a breakfast club, including staffing, equipment, and creative activities. Funding can be used for both day-to-day costs and small equipment purchases.
To be eligible schools must meet the following criteria:
- At least 35% of pupils are eligible for free school meals.
- The school is located within an area classified as being in the 30% most deprived areas according to the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (SIMD).
The fund is open until further notice but may close early if oversubscribed.
