Fund Opens for Scottish Charities Tackling Inequality & Poverty - Very Short Deadline (Scotland)
The People’s Postcode Trust has announced that its People’s Postcode Lottery grant programme is now open for applications from charities and good causes in Scotland.
Projects must align with one of four themes:
- enabling participation in the arts
- preventing or reducing the impact of poverty
- supporting marginalised groups and/or tackling inequality
- improving mental health
The Trust offers three-year funding of up to £50,000 for registered charities, Community Interest Companies, and Charitable Community Benefit Societies with an annual income between £10,000 and £1 million.
Priority is given to:
- Applications from smaller charities, particularly those with annual income under £250,000
- Organisations that work in communities located in the top 15% of the Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation
- Organisations whose primary activities focus on supporting marginalised groups. This could include, but is not limited to, disabled people, communities experiencing racial inequity, and LGBT+ people
Applicants must have been operating for a minimum of 12 months and meet governance requirements.
The deadline for applications is noon on 1st April 2026.
