Grant News
Greenspace Scotland has announced that the Parks4Life Community Fund is now accepting applications. The fund offers grants ranging from £500 to £1,500 to support the improvement, promotion, and development of local parks and greenspaces across Scotland.
The Parks4Life Community Fund has been established through generous donations and contributions, with the aim of building Scotland’s first £1 million parks endowment fund. The fund is designed to empower local communities to bring their parks to life—ensuring these essential public spaces remain accessible, vibrant, and inclusive for everyone.
Funding could be used, for example, to:
- deliver an event to attract visitors to the park
- train volunteers
- a park clean
- a small planting scheme
- purchase tools and equipment
- run initiatives to attract new members
Priority is given to applications from groups working to improve greenspace in deprived areas.
The fund is jointly managed by Greenspace Scotland and MyParkScotland, and is open to constituted community groups and Friends of parks groups operating in Scotland.
