Small Grants of up to £3,000 Available for Community Groups Supporting Disadvantaged People (Scotland)

The Corra Foundation has announced that its Boost Fund is open to small community groups and charities across Scotland working with people affected by poverty or disadvantage.

Corra is a Scottish grantmaker that supports community-led action and social change.

Eligible applicants include constituted community groups, charities and other not-for-profit organisations with annual income of £50,000 or less, as well as some unconstituted groups.

Funding available is:

  • £500 to £3,000 for constituted groups and charities
  • Smaller grants for unconstituted groups 

The fund can support community activity and practical help for local people and families.

Examples of activities that can be funded include:

  • a parent and toddler group providing support and social interaction
  • a local food pantry
  • a walking group for older people
  • and other local activities that meet a clear community need.

There is £1 million available to distribute through April 2027, and Corra anticipates making approximately 325 grants.

Corra aim to notify applicants of the outcome of their application within six weeks of receiving the form.
