Grants of Up to £2,500 for Available Local Mental Health, Disability and Equality Projects (UK)

Registered and unregistered charities, as well as community groups, can apply for funding of up to £2,500 for projects that support local communities across mainland UK.

Applicants must be located within 50 miles of an Arnold Clark branch.

Applications are being accepted during May under Community Support Category 1 of the Arnold Clark Community Fund. This category supports projects focused on mental health, disability, equality and diversity, and relief support.

Funding can be used for a range of community-benefitting activities and costs. This could include resources for sensory or disability support groups, equipment and adaptations, trips for disability groups, local mental health support groups, wellbeing networks and community events, emergency service support, cancer or illness support groups, and programmes that promote equal access, tackle discrimination and inequality, or help strengthen community cohesion.

Applications must be made by an official representative of the charity or community group, such as a director, trustee or employee. Successful applicants will receive a one-off payment by BACS into the organisation’s bank account.

Applications may close early if demand is high.
