Grants Available for Projects Supporting Scotland’s Housing Communities (Scotland)

The Lintel Trust has announced that its Small Grant Programme is open for applications from not-for-profit organisations in Scotland. The trust is a Scottish charity that supports housing communities through grant-making, fund management and community-focused initiatives, with a long track record of backing grassroots projects.

Grants of either £500 or £1,000 are available for projects to be delivered within 12 months of award. The programme is aimed at small local initiatives that can show a close connection to a housing association, housing co-operative, local authority or another social housing provider. Lintel Trust says its funding is intended for projects that create meaningful local impact, with its contribution expected to exceed 30% of the total project cost.

The Trust supports projects:

  • tackling social isolation within housing communities
  • promoting digital participation
  • enabling the elderly to remain independent and in their own homes
  • enabling people with disabilities to live independently
  • assisting people moving from homelessness to secure tenancies

The next deadline for applications is 12 August 2026.
