Grants of up to £50,000 are available from Postcode Neighbourhood Trust for charities and good causes in the north of England. The Trust awards funding raised by players of Postcode Lottery and supports hundreds of local organisations each year.
The programme offers flexible three-year funding for registered charities, Community Interest Companies with an asset lock, and charitable Community Benefit Societies. Applicants must have been operating for at least 12 months and have annual income between £10,000 and £1 million. Organisations with income below £250,000 may be prioritised.
Funding is for organisations whose core work fits one of four themes:
- enabling participation in the arts;
- preventing or reducing poverty;
- supporting marginalised groups and tackling inequality;
- improving mental health.
Applications must be made online during the funding window. Round 2 opens at 9am on 24 June 2026 and closes at 12 noon on 1 July 2026. Round 3 opens at 9am on 24 September 2026 and closes at 12 noon on 1 October 2026.
Applicants can only submit one application per round.
