Scotland-based dance and theatre artists, choreographers, producers, companies, and venues are invited to apply for a share of £2 million in National Lottery funding to support live performance tours.
Creative Scotland’s Touring Fund for Theatre and Dance will continue to support the touring of a wide range of theatre and dance productions, including outdoor, circus, interdisciplinary, and site-specific work.
The fund aims to foster collaboration among artists, producers, companies, and venues, to broaden access and engage diverse audiences.
Funding will be provided for the full amount required to produce and tour. There are no upper or lower limits on the amount that can be applied for.
Applications will be accepted from:
- individual dance and theatre artists, companies and organisations
- independent dance and theatre producers can also apply on their own or on behalf of artists
- consortia of venues presenting a shared touring programme
Funded activity includes new productions, revivals, successful past shows, and productions that have been developed but not yet toured.
The deadline for applications is 2pm on 30 September 2026.
