The Scottish Community Alliance’s Community Learning Exchange Fund is offering grants of up to £1,000 to help community groups across Scotland learn from other organisations through peer-to-peer visits. The Alliance is a coalition of national networks and intermediaries working to strengthen Scotland’s community sector.
Funding can support in-person exchanges where groups visit another organisation to share knowledge, develop ideas and improve local practice. Eligible costs include travel, accommodation, subsistence and a host organisation fee. Virtual exchanges can receive up to £200.

• Open to community groups across Scotland.
• Applications must be endorsed by an appropriate Scottish Community Alliance member network.
• Up to £1,000 for in-person exchanges.
• Up to £200 for virtual exchanges.
• Applicants should allow at least three weeks between applying and the proposed exchange.
Funding cannot support retrospective visits, training courses, conferences, recreational trips or travel outside Scotland. Receipts, expenses and feedback must be submitted following the exchange.
