Grants of up to £1,500 Available to Enhance the Mental Wellbeing of Young People (UK)

The Asda Foundation has launched the Young Futures Fund, offering grants between £500 and £1,000 to support projects aimed at enhancing the mental health and wellbeing of young people aged 13 to 21 across the UK. Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs) with their own bank accounts are eligible to apply, provided the funding is directed towards extracurricular activities that align with the fund's objectives.

This initiative seeks to back projects that offer services to support, educate, and empower young people; facilitate peer connections; provide rehabilitation, recovery, and shelter services; and promote physical health and wellbeing. Examples include creating safe spaces for youth gatherings and conducting educational workshops on critical issues such as knife crime.

The application window opens at noon on Thursday, 27th February 2025, and will remain open until 13th March 2025, or earlier if the total budget of £500,000 is allocated. PTAs interested in applying should first complete an eligibility check on the Asda Foundation's website. Upon confirmation of eligibility, applications can be submitted through the Grant Management System. Detailed guidelines and criteria are available online to assist applicants in the process.
