Grant News
The Greggs Foundation Relief Grants Programme provides support to individuals and families across the North East of England experiencing financial hardship.
The programme helps cover the cost of essential household items and unexpected expenses caused by rising living costs, illness, unemployment, or other emergencies.
Relief Grants can support the following items:
- supermarket food vouchers
- clothing vouchers (to fund new school uniforms, a job interview outfit or warm winter clothing)
- beds and mattresses
- essential home appliances (washing machines, ovens, fridge freezers, tumble dryers)
- energy vouchers
- small kitchen appliances
Applications should be for one item only and not multiple items.
Applications must be submitted by approved referral partners - such as charities, housing associations, or social services - on behalf of the household. Schools within the Greggs Feeding Brighter Futures network are also eligible to apply.
Priority will be given to:
- families over individuals
- the most financially excluded people
- Items that will make the most difference
Applications are assessed weekly, with responses expected within three weeks.
