£4 Million Apprenticeship Fund to Boost Local Skills & Support Small Businesses (England)
BT Group has launched a new Apprenticeship Fund to support SMEs, charities, and public sector organisations in England.
In partnership with training provider Babington, the fund will allocate £4 million over an initial four-year period to help organisations, including the NHS, train new apprentices and upskill existing workforces.
The fund will support apprentices aged 22 and older, with a strong emphasis on developing digital skills. The initiative aims to promote local economic growth, reduce the digital divide, and enhance social mobility, potentially benefitting up to 550 apprentices.
Organisations interested in accessing funding can register their interest on the BT Group Apprenticeship Fund Portal.
