Grants of up to £40,000 are available through Islamic Relief UK’s Grants (Domestic) Programme to support organisations across the UK working with vulnerable and marginalised communities. Eligible applicants include local community groups, voluntary and faith-based organisations, and registered charities.
Funding is aimed at initiatives that address the following areas:

Responding to emergencies within the UK
A total of £2 million has been allocated for this year’s funding round.
The grant can be used to support a range of costs, including:

Applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on 7 July 2025.
Projects previously supported through Islamic Relief UK include:
Youth First-Aid & Peer Education Workshops - A UK-based youth and family development initiative delivered interactive first-aid training and peer-led sessions to young people at risk of community violence. This project empowered youth with life-saving skills and built confidence, resilience, and community leadership—all core priorities of the funding programme.
In January 2022 Islamic Relief UK supported a partnership with Sufra NW London—a community hub tackling food poverty, homelessness, and youth employability. The collaboration expanded vital services such as cookery training, a community kitchen, and food-bank access in Stonebridge, Brent.
