Grant News
Funding is available to support organisations delivering high-quality, impactful cultural activity across Greater Manchester.
Delivered by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, the Greater Manchester Culture Fund will support activity over a three-year period that promotes collaboration, economic growth, health and wellbeing outcomes, and inclusion across the city-region.
The fund is open to applications under two strands:
- Spirit - for organisations delivering cultural activity in more than one GM district, with funding between £20,000 and £200,000 per year
- Sustain - for organisations delivering activity in all ten GM districts, with funding of £200,000 or more per year. Sustain recipients are expected to play a leadership role in supporting the wider cultural sector
To be eligible, organisations must be properly constituted, not for profit, voluntary organisations offering cultural activity of more than local significance across the ten Local Authorities of Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan.
The grants programme operates over a period of three years, from 1st April 2026 to 31 March 2029.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 19th November 2025.
