Grants of between £1,000 and £100,000 are available through Arts Council England’s Music Growth Fund to support sustainable and inclusive growth across the UK music sector. Arts Council England is the national development agency for creativity and culture, investing public money to support arts, museums, libraries and cultural activity.
The fund is aimed at UK-based music industry organisations and businesses working with new music, including micro, small and medium-sized companies, sole traders, charities, CICs, not-for-profit organisations and eligible consortia. Eligible applicants may include festivals, promoters, managers, record labels, recording studios, rehearsal spaces, publishers, grassroots music venues and sector bodies.
Funding can support activity that develops emerging talent, strengthens grassroots music infrastructure, creates opportunities for artists, creators and music businesses, and helps expand audiences and markets in the UK and internationally.
Key details include:
· grants are available in two strands: £1,000 to £40,000 and £40,001 to £100,000;
· activity can last up to three years;
· National Portfolio Organisations and IPSOs can apply only for activity outside existing Arts Council England funding agreements;
· applicants must have a UK bank account and an accountable person aged 18 or over.
The £1,000 to £40,000 strand opens on 6 August 2026 and closes on 3 September 2026. The £40,001 to £100,000 strand opens on 7 September 2026 and closes on 1 October 2026.
