Charities and organisations that provide support to soldiers, veterans, and their immediate families can apply for funding from Army Benelevont Fund.

Funding is offered to provide support in six key areas:

• independent living
• elderly care
• education and training
• mental wellbeing
• helping army families
• housing

Up to 100 charities are normally funded each year, with grant amounts varying depending on the project or activity being proposed. 

Priority is given to member organisations of the Confederation of Service Charities or Veterans Scotland.

Applications from CICs, community projects, and housing associations will also be considered. 

The Grants Committee normally sits three times a year in February, June and November.

Any charity that has not been supported in the previous 24 months must always contact the Fund in advance by emailing  externalgrants@armybenevolentfund.org before making a formal submission.

The next closing date is the 11th January 2024.
