Competition to Develop Plant Health Innovations for Biosecurity (UK)

UK organisations can apply for a share of £800,000 in funding to develop innovative solutions to improve UK biosecurity against regulated plant pests and diseases.

The SBRI: Plant Health Innovations for Biosecurity competition aims to accelerate the development of innovative solutions, technologies or practices that enhance plant health and biosecurity activities, with a focus on regulated pests, diseases and of future operational deployment.

Total project costs must be between £20,000 and £150,000 inclusive of VAT.

The competition is delivered in collaboration between Innovate UK part of UKRI, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, and the Biotechnology Biological Science Research Council.

The deadline for applications is 11am on the 20th December 2023.
