Grassroots community sports groups are being invited to participate in a fundraising competition to encourage more children to play sports in their communities.
The Cash for Kids Sports Challenge aims to raise funds for initiatives to improve access and opportunities for disadvantaged and disabled children and young people who find it challenging to get into sports.
Groups will have from 7 September to 7 October to raise as much money as possible. The top three fundraising groups will receive an additional £5,000, £2,500, and £1,500, respectively. Plus, there are special awards of £500 each for the Teamwork Award and Sports Challenge Champion Award.
The competition is open to groups in various locations across England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The closing date for entries is the 2nd September 2024.
