A funding opportunity is available for UK teachers to visit a German school and gain insights into the German education system.

Grants of up to £1,000 are available to cover up to 75 % of the costs of a one- or two-week visit during the autumn, spring or summer term 2025-26.

The UK-German Connection Professional Enrichment Programme will provide teachers with the opportunity to develop their professional skills and knowledge, and will cover the costs of travel, accommodation, insurance and supply teacher cover.

Applicants do not have to be teachers of German to apply, and a matching service is available for those not already in contact with a German school.

The closing date for applications is the 6th June 2025.
