Scottish Building Society Foundation (Scotland) The Scottish Building Society Foundation funds local projects that help strengthen communities across Scotland by making grants to support relevant charitable or community organisations, which make a difference within their local area. Grants of up to £5,000 are available for initiatives that help to ensure future sustainability for vulnerable individuals and communities. The Foundation particularly welcomes applications that support community facilities, transport, open spaces, affordable housing, community development, poverty reduction, care for the elderly, events, youth education, and support for vulnerable people. The funding can be used to support costs such as equipment, running costs, staff or sessional workers, maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities, and capital costs to purchase or develop community assets. The funding is provided in partnership with Foundation Scotland. |

Sustrans - Places for Everyone (Scotland) Sustrans Scotland provides advice, support and funding for the creation of infrastructure that makes it easier for people to walk, wheel and cycle for everyday journeys. Through the Places for Everyone programme Sustrans provides funding and expertise to help deliver walking, wheeling and cycling improvements across the country. |

Foundation Scotland - Carcant Wind Farm Community Fund (Heriot) Foundation Scotland exists to benefit disadvantaged communities by making grants to support relevant charitable or voluntary organisations, which make a difference to their local communities. Through the Carcant Wind Farm Community Fund the foundation provides grants of up to £10,000 to support charitable activities that: Encourage community activity and promote community spirit in Heriot; Ensure adequate access to services for all Heriot community members; Improve local transport infrastructure; Build the local economy; Build community capacity and cohesion between groups; and/or Develop or maintain community assets. Grants may support a wide range of costs, for example the costs of equipment, staff or sessional workers, consultations, running costs for local groups, maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities, and so on. |

Robertson Trust - Transport Grants (Scotland) The Robertson Trust is an independent Scottish grant-making Trust that exists to prevent and reduce poverty and trauma in Scotland. Through the Transport Grants programme, the trust provides grants of £5,000 to £20,000 to contribute towards the costs of transport and support the work of registered charities that address poverty and trauma in Scotland.

Energy Saving Trust – eBike Grant (Scotland) The eBike Grant Fund is a capital fund. A total of £1.14million has been made available, split into two streams, the ‘Community Fund’ and the ‘Public Sector Fund’. Funding from the Community Fund is available to community groups and third sector organisations looking for up to £75,000 towards projects that will provide opportunities to trial ebikes. Public sector organisations and local authorities can apply via the Public Sector Fund, for the purposes of providing fleets of pool bikes, bikeshare/hire schemes, and promoting large scale uptake of ebikes as an alternative to car and van travel. Up to £200,000 is available per application, higher bids will be considered on a case by case basis. It is the aim of the fund to support the uptake of ebikes for functional journeys, therefore this should be the focus for both funds. |
