Tabhair - A Charitable Trust (UK & Ireland) The Tabhair Trust is passionate about nurturing small to medium sized charities in their aspirations to change communities and restore broken lives through providing opportunities for education, training and personal advancement. The trust provides grants of between £500 and £5000 for both individual projects and core costs to charitable organisations registered and working in the UK and Ireland. |

Cumbria Community Foundation - Catherine Alexander Grassroots Fund (Kendal) The Cumbria Community Foundation exists to benefit disadvantaged people and communities by making grants to support relevant charitable or voluntary organisations, which make a difference within their local area. Through the Catherine Alexander Grassroots Fund the foundation provides grants of between £500 and £1,000 to small voluntary and community groups and organisations to continue or expand their work, such as advocacy, community voice, and service provision. Priority will be given to projects that: support children and young people; support people in fulfilling their potential; promote life skills and the raising of aspirations. |

Cumbria Community Foundation - Better Tomorrows Fund (Cumbria) The Cumbria Community Foundation exists to benefit disadvantaged people and communities by making grants to support relevant charitable or voluntary organisations, which make a difference within their local area. Through the Better Tomorrows Fund the foundation provides grants of up to £25,000 for accredited training for youth workers via Cumbria Youth Alliance’s training programme. |

Foundation Scotland - Nadara Energy Galawhistle Wind Farm Community Fund (South Lanarkshire) Foundation Scotland exists to benefit disadvantaged communities by making grants to support relevant charitable or voluntary organisations, which make a difference to their local communities. Through the Ventient Energy Galawhistle Wind Farm Community Fund the foundation provides grants of up to £20,000 to support positive change by investing in a wide range of inspirational, community-led activity that is strategic, positive and creative and helps deliver a legacy of lasting impact. It will do this by making grants to support the costs of relevant projects, services and facilities. Ocado Foundation for Good Programme (UK) The Ocado Foundation is the charitable arm of Ocado Group, working for the benefit of communities across the UK. Through the Ocado Foundation for Good programme, the Foundation provides grants of up to £1,000 to charities, community organisations, community interest companies, academic institutions, and local authorities for community projects which focus their efforts on three core areas: skills for the future, natural resources and responsible sourcing. |

Trusthouse Charitable Foundation - Small Grant (UK) The Trusthouse Charitable Foundation is a grant making foundation that give grants to small and medium sized local organisations in the UK with a demonstrable track record of success working to address local issues in communities of extreme urban deprivation and deprived rural districts. Through the small grants programme the foundation provides funding of between £2,000 and £10,000 to charitable organisations with an income of less than £250,000 for projects that focus on Community Support. Examples of the kind of projects that can be funded include: CommunityServices; CommunityCentres; Alternative Education; Training, mentoring, employment and volunteering opportunities; Youth; Counselling; Family Support Services; Substance Misuse. |

Cobalt Housing - Community Funding (Liverpool) Cobalt’s community fund supports groups and organisations to deliver projects which explicitly benefit the residents across the Cobalt neighbourhoods. Grants of up to £3,500 are available to support projects that meet one of the following priorities: healthy living; strengthening communities; cleaner, safer, greener communities; financial inclusion and advice; employment and life-long learning; families. |

Community Foundation for Merseyside - Big Local Beechwood, Ballantyne and Bidston Village Bright Ideas Fund (Birkenhead) The Community Foundation for Merseyside exists to benefit disadvantaged communities by making grants to support relevant charitable or voluntary organisations, which make a difference to their local communities. Through the Big Local Beechwood, Ballantyne and Bidston Village Bright Ideas Fund the foundation provides grants of up to £3,000 to applications that address one or more of the following: Courses, trips, classes, events or projects which are predominantly resident-led; Courses, trips, classes, events or projects which will upskills residents living in the specified area; Funding for residents to set up new groups (non-constituted groups must liaise with an established not-for-profit organisation for them to hold the funding on their behalf). |

Youth Futures Foundation - Impact Grants (England) The Youth Futures Foundation aims to transform the lives of young people by unlocking potential and addressing the root causes of youth unemployment. With a £90 million endowment from the Reclaim fund, the Foundation will support cutting edge solutions and like-minded people to harness the potential of all young people missing out on meaningful employment. Through the Impact grants programme the Foundation is looking to find, fund, support and evaluate promising practice. Funding will go to organisations working with young people aged 14-24 to help overcome barriers to finding meaningful work. The Foundations is looking for approaches that can be tested, evaluated and, where proven to be effective, expanded to more young people. |

Thomas Wall Trust - Grants for Registered Charities (UK) The Thomas Wall Trust offers grants up to £5,000 towards specific projects or core activities that support literacy, numeracy, digital and additional skills for learning that are likely to assist employment prospects. The Trust recognises that the future of the labour market will become increasingly competitive, with employers placing greater emphasis on transferable skills. |

Jill Franklin Trust Grant (UK) The Jill Franklin Trust is a grant making organisation which supports five areas: Self-Help groups - advice, training, and employment, to support people with a mental illness or learning difficulties , and their carers (parents etc.); Organisations helping and supporting refugees and asylum-seekers coming to or in the UK; The restoration (not "improvement") of churches of architectural importance and occasionally to other buildings of architectural importance, the church should be open to visitors every day; Local schemes to help prisoners to resettle, or to inhibit delinquency; Bereavement counselling. The Trust has about £80,000 a year to spend, however grants are typically between £500 and £1000. Applications may be submitted at any time. |

National Lottery - Reaching Communities Programme (England) Reaching Communities provide grants to help improve local communities and the lives of people most in need, including hard to reach communities. There is a small revenue and a capital scheme and a larger buildings only fund. All projects must address one or more of the following outcomes. People have better chances in life, with better access to training and development to improve their life skills; Stronger communities, with more active citizens, working together to tackle their problems; Improved rural and urban environments, which communities are better able to access and enjoy; and Healthier and more active people and communities. |

Princes Trust - Development Awards (UK) The Princes trust is a charity that was established to help 16-30 year olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to transform their lives. The Development Awards programme are cash grants of £10 - £500 to help young people (16-30) get into education, training or employment. Examples of what can be funded include; tools or equipment for a job or qualification e.g. hairdressing kit, carpentry tools, chef's whites; course fees; interview clothes; license fees e.g. CSCS card (construction) or SIA license (security); childcare costs to help single parents access short term education; and transport to a new job until first pay cheque. |

Community Foundations (UK) Community Foundations support community and voluntary sector activity through grants to local groups and organisations. There are 48 Community Foundations of different sizes within the UK. Although all Community Foundations operate according to common criteria, they vary in terms of size and nature of grants available. Some Community Foundations will fund both organisations and individuals whilst other foundations will only fund organisations. Each community foundation covers a specific geographic area and will not normally be able to support work outside its area. |
