Community Wildlife Grant
Lincolnshire County Council

Parish Councils, charities, community and voluntary groups that carry out environmental work in Lincolnshire can apply for funding through the Community Wildlife Grant scheme.

 

Grants are only available for projects located within Lincolnshire.  They may be awarded for tree planting, woodland improvement, veteran tree management, hedge laying, nature area creation, repairing dry stone walls, hedge planting, access improvements, leaflets and information boards and involving communities in wildlife.

This grant  is open to Parish Councils, charities, community and voluntary groups for projects that meet the following aims;

 

  • encourage local community involvement with nature conservation projects
  • promote, improve and protect bio-diversity
  • promote access to and enjoyment of the countryside.

Grants are available for between £50 and £500 up to a maximum of 75% of the total costs. The closing dates for application are 1st April and 1st September each year .
