Local Funding

The Mayor of Sefton's charity fund is a trust that was set up to assist the people of Sefton.  It aims to help many of the smaller charitable and voluntary groups that do not have a national profile and sometimes find fundraising rather difficult because they are not well known outside of the local area in which they operate.

The money from the Fund is distributed once a year, after the Mayor's term of office. Donations are only made to those who have completed the required Application Form.

Please note that organisations in receipt of SMBC grants are not eligible for assistance from the Mayor of Sefton's Charity Fund.
