Hull City Council

Grants are given to Arts, Cultural and Community organisations to assist the development of artistic activity within the city of Hull.

Priority is given to: -

- Innovation

- Projects involving professional input

- Projects which increase the community's knowledge, understanding, participation in and enjoyment of the arts


Points to note:

- Presentation of work to the general public will be of prime consideration

- Grants will not be made for travel or individual tuition

- Grants for equipment will not exceed 50% of the total cost

- Applicants must demonstrate that they are seeking other sources of funding through grants, donations, ticket sales etc

Arts, Cultural and Community organisations can apply
for activities to take place within the city boundary, as
long as the activities are open to the general public, or
serve an identified interest group or are of clear
advantage to Hull residents.

Deadlines for consideration of applications over £200
are 1st May and 1st November.

Grant applications of up to £200 can be made at any
time.
