Grants to Provide Solutions for People in Housing Need (Scotland)

The Lintel Trust, a Scottish housing charity, has recently reopened its Small Grant Fund to help community organisations address housing challenges.

The Trust is offering grants of £500 or £1,000 to support local projects that improve people's lives in social housing communities. These grants are specifically designed to fund initiatives that make a real difference, such as helping residents stay connected, learn digital skills, and maintain their independence.

The Trust will support projects that:

  • Reduce social isolation among housing community members
  • Teach digital skills to residents
  • Help older people live independently in their own homes
  • Support people with disabilities to live more autonomously
  • Assist individuals transitioning from homelessness to stable housing

Organisations eligible for funding must have a direct connection to housing associations, housing cooperatives, or local authority social housing providers. This ensures that the grants reach groups with genuine community impact.

There are four application deadlines during this year and the next closing date is the 5th February 2025.
