Grants of up to £20,000 Available for Training and Employment Projects (Scotland)

Registered charities and other not-for-profit organisations with an annual income of up to £2,500,000 are eligible to apply for grants ranging from £2,000 to £20,000 to support projects focusing on training for employment, employment support, and vocational skills development.

The total funding available is £150,000.

The Bairdwatson Charitable Trust, managed by Foundation Scotland, has launched this funding opportunity to improve employment prospects and skills training in Scotland. The trust is particularly interested in initiatives that provide employment and skills training for young people, as well as re-training and support for unemployed individuals seeking to re-enter the workforce.

The trust aims to continue the legacy of its founder, John Neil Bairdwatson, by supporting employment and the development of young people. Preference will be given to projects that have a connection to the community of Airdrie in Scotland, reflecting the founder's interests and commitments.

The closing date for applications is the 21st February 2025.

Interested organisations can apply online through the Foundation Scotland website (link below).
