The fund makes up to £320,000 available to support projects that encourage greater participation in the arts at a community level. The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Scotland’s cultural landscape by enabling people of all ages and backgrounds to engage with creative activities.
The fund is open to community groups and organisations across Scotland, particularly those committed to widening access to cultural experiences.
The Community Arts Fund is designed to back hands-on, participatory creative forms that engage communities directly and will support:
- Dance
- Filmmaking
- Creative writing
- Music-making
- Storytelling
Eligible organisations can apply for up to £35,000, and the fund is expected to support at least 10 charities.
The closing date for applications is the 18th September 2025. Activities will be delivered between January and December 2026.
