Grant News
Small Scottish charities, community groups, and other not-for-profit organisations that support people affected by poverty or disadvantage are invited to apply for a share of £1 million in funding.
The Boost Small Grants Fund is delivered by Corra Foundation in partnership with STV Children’s Appeal, and Comic Relief, and supported by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The fund aims to:
- provide an accessible funding opportunity for small community-led organisations
- ensure supportive community-led activities are available
This might include a parent and toddler group providing social interaction, a local food pantry providing food and community support, or a walking group for older people.
Applications can be submitted by:
- Charities, CICs, and other constituted groups with an annual income of £50,000 or less can apply for grants of between £500 and £3,000
- Unconstituted groups may apply for grants of between £250 and £1,500
Applications are assessed on community need, with decisions typically provided within six weeks.
It is anticipated that approximately 325 grants will be awarded.
Applications can be made at any time until all funding is allocated.
